NCCER has an immediate opening for a Marketing Coordinator. This individual coordinates NCCER’s participation in conferences and tradeshows through managing the approvals, schedule, shipments, supplies and booths as well as writing and submitting speaking proposals. The Marketing Coordinator also manages NCCER’s social media accounts, which include Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn. Ongoing responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and distributing email blasts, updating PowerPoint presentations for the organization, collecting and analyzing metrics, fulfilling logo requests, making routine website updates and coordinating inventory of marketing supplies and collateral. This individual manages NCCER’s online store, and may manage a variety of other special projects as assigned by the director.
The position requires the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a detail-oriented and deadline-driven environment. Excellent organizational, oral and written communication and project management skills are required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Public Relations is required, as well as a minimum three years experience in a related field.
Software skills needed include Microsoft Office (with emphasis on Excel), Adobe Creative Suite 5 or above (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign), contact management and desktop publishing software, website design and/or html knowledge.
