This report looks at who earns certificates; occupations and earnings returns for certificate holders; and where certificate programs and workers are located.
- On average, certificate holders earn 20 percent more than high school graduates without any postsecondary education.
- A certificate holder’s field (or program) of study can also influence earnings, especially if they work in an occupation related to their training.
- Some certificate holders earn as much as or even more than workers with college degrees.
