Craft Training for College Credit
College degrees have become increasingly more valuable in advancing careers in the construction and maintenance industries. If your local college does not award college credit for NCCER craft training, NCCER and Pima Community College have developed a program that allows students and craft instructors to earn college credit for successful completion of standardized craft training through an NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor.
Associate of Applied Science Degree
College credits earned in the CTCC program may be applied toward Pima's Associate of Applied Science degree in Business and Industry Technology.
The Associate of Applied Science degree is available for a variety of purposes to meet the needs of business, industry, and government agencies. It can be customized for apprenticeship, workforce development, and for special clientele in need of a custom credential.
The intent of the technical electives is to provide students a body of knowledge and skill which is coherent and provides them opportunities for either a new career or career advancement. The choice of these electives usually requires a partnership between the college and another organization.
