The purpose of this thesis is to compare the assessment scores of formally trained craft professionals compared to the assessment scores of other craft professionals. This thesis further examines the assessment test scores of 31 NCCER crafts.
- Trained craft professionals have a slightly higher average on assessments than non-trained craft professionals.
- Trained craft professionals have higher assessment scores in 27 out of 31 crafts.
- The literature findings indicate trained craft professionals perform at higher productivity rates.
