Mobile Crane Operator Certification
NCCER’s Mobile Crane Operator Certification Program consists of assessments and practical examinations that meet or exceed current ASME B30.5 consensus safety standards and OSHA 29 CFR part 1926 subpart CC.
NCCER understands the importance of impartiality in carrying out its certification activities, manages conflict of interest and ensures the objectivity of its certification activities. NCCER has enacted policies and procedures to safeguard objectivity and impartiality in all of its assessment and certification processes. NCCER training, assessment and certification is available without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, or any other reason prohibited by local, state or federal regulations.
Mobile Crane Endorsed Accredited Assessment Centers are able to deliver the certification program (assessments and practical examinations) to their employees/membership using their own equipment as personnel are available and time permits.
NCCER’s Mobile Crane Operator Certification Program offers:

*For operators seeking licensure in the state of Pennsylvania, an additional mathematical assessments is required.
NCCER Gold Card
NCCER released the new Gold Card, a picture card for all candidates who earn a certification through one of NCCER’s Mobile Crane Operator, Rigger and/or Signal Person Certification Programs. The Gold Card provides each certified professional a unique number, allowing them to verify certification credentials in real time through NCCER’s Online Verification.
Note: This program is independent of the NCCER Mobile Crane curriculum and assessment.
