Gainesville, Fla.--The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is proud to announce the premiere of the 2010 Build Your Future video on October 18th, during the sixth annual Careers in Construction Week at byf.org.

Careers in Construction Week, which takes place the third week of October, is designed to increase public awareness of the hard work and contributions of our nation’s craft professionals. It promotes recognition among parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and students of the rewarding career opportunities available in construction.

Contractors, schools, and industry associations throughout the country will conduct career fairs and various construction-related activities to help promote construction career opportunities in their communities.

The fast-paced BYF video is distributed free of charge and features interviews from real craft professionals who are already experiencing a rewarding construction career. This year’s video will feature such construction projects as the Florida Marlins baseball stadium and the NASCAR Hall of Fame and is 15 minutes in length.

Duplicate copies of the BYF video will be available after the broadcast and can be ordered via the website. Organizations planning an event during this week are encouraged to submit their event online at byf.org.
