Veterans
NCCER provides military members industry-recognized construction credentials based on skills learned through their service. Donors can support our veterans with contributions to the Hard Hat Heroes Program.
NCCER for Veterans
In collaboration with construction professionals who served in each military branch, NCCER has aligned its credentials with construction-based MOS codes, allowing transitioning service members to translate military experience into the skills and certifications needed for post-military employment. Our veterans can build upon those achievements by embarking on a career in construction or continuing their craft training. We’ve identified military-friendly employers ready to hire veterans to make it easy to transition to a civilian career in the construction industry.
Here’s how NCCER empowers veterans to translate their military experience into civilian success through construction career pathways:
Receive credentials based on earned military specialties to begin a civilian career in construction.
Connect with NCCER’s network of military-friendly employers who understand the value veterans bring to construction teams.
Continue building your skills or learn new ones with NCCER training programs.
Enjoy free resources from NCCER and its partners.
