NCCER President and CEO Boyd Worsham recently wrote an op-ed for Construction Dive. In the piece, Worsham writes that the industry should emphasize the top, not the bottom, of building’s career ladder.

It’s where someone can start working with their hands and rise to lead an entire company. But students can’t choose what they don’t know exists. And right now, we’re giving them an incomplete picture.”
