Industry Ambassadors

• Inspire the next generation of craft professionals.
• Present construction career pathways to middle and high school students, highlighting CTE, apprenticeship and especially job opportunities.
• Distribute NCCER program materials to educators, guidance counselors and career centers.
• Promote NCCER programs, resources and philanthropic initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advocate for the construction industry.
• Share plans, progress and experiences with NCCER’s volunteer team.

• Align with NCCER’s mission and values and share a commitment to connecting individuals to opportunity. 

• Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills. 

• Possess a working knowledge of the construction industry and career pathways. 

• Complete any required screenings, training or approvals necessary to work with students.

Participation may vary based on individual availability but may include: 

• Maintaining periodic engagement throughout the year. 

• Representing NCCER at outreach activities, school presentations and career events. 

• Serving as an advocate for construction career pathways within your professional role and network.
