There are three options for ordering printed, traditional textbooks from Pearson:
If you are not a current customer, you will need to set up an account and obtain your 11-digit Pearson account number by calling the number listed above in order to receive discounted business pricing.
Pearson Collections allows an instructor/organization to make custom bulk purchases in both print and digital. If an organization only wants specific modules instead of full books, they should use this platform to build their custom books.
VitalSource is available for individuals needing covered task modules that can be used for training or as study guide for OQ tests
Each covered task module is linked to its purchase page through VitalSource. You must create an account and be logged in to purchase each module. Click here for more information.
We have conducted webinars that cover topics such as general program overview, training materials and how to use the new testing system.

Q: How should I manage my current assessment inventory?
A: We encourage you to use up what you can in the coming months and be cautious placing new assessment orders as you will only be able to submit until October 2.
Q: Do I have to train? I have always just tested.
A: No. You can continue to just test, although NCCER strongly encourages everyone to offer training prior to testing.
Q: Will paper testing still be available?
A: Yes, paper testing will still be available. More details will be coming out soon.
Q: Do we have to test both written and performance?
A: This is up to the requirements of each operator. Only pipeline operators (not NCCER) can determine the qualification requirements of workers, contractors and subcontractors working on their pipeline.
