News Brief: NCCER Partners with TIC on Spanish Power Line Worker Curricula

04/30/2024 News Brief

The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and TIC – The Industrial Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, are partnering to offer Spanish translations for NCCER’s Power Line Worker curricula, including Substation, Transmission and Distribution specializations.

With growing sector demands and increased focus on energy infrastructure improvement, this partnership helps to fill the need for high-quality training available in both English and Spanish.

The first two titles to be translated, Introduction to the Power Industry (Introducción a la industria de energía) and Power Line Worker Level 1 (Trabajador de línea eléctrica nivel 1), are available now. Additional titles will be released throughout 2024 and 2025.

To purchase Introduction to the Power Industry or Power Line Worker Level 1 in Spanish, contact your Pearson executive director.
