Explore The Trades and NCCER Launch Free Career Co-Kit During CTE Month
Explore The Trades and NCCER have announced a free career co-kit designed to simplify access to construction career exploration and readiness resources for students, educators, counselors and industry volunteers nationwide.
Released during Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, the digital career kit brings together resources from both organizations into a single, easy-to-access location and is designed to support learners from early-career awareness to readiness and next steps into craft careers.
The partnership expands career exploration by connecting learners at different ages and stages through complementary resources. Explore The Trades provides career awareness resources for K-12 students, their parents and educators, as well as a series of Spanish-translated materials. NCCER’s Build Your Future and CareerStarter resources create a clear bridge from early exploration to readiness, credentials and job opportunities for middle and high school students across the construction industry. These consolidated resources offer a more complete and inclusive entry point into craft careers, supporting learners, educators, counselors and volunteers throughout the full career exploration journey.
