NCCER President and CEO Boyd Worsham was featured on an NPR audio story about the 2024 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

The story discusses the need for the construction industry to grow its workforce and meet the projected demand of more than 2.7 million craft professionals by 2026.

“Diversity is the key to this 2 million person problem, quite frankly. We need this industry welcoming and open to everyone,” said Worsham.
