A Digital Home for Every Credential

02/03/2026 Blog

It is now easier for craft professionals to manage and share their industry credentials.

Thanks to the new NCCER Digital Wallet powered by BuilderFax, each time an individual completes NCCER training, they can access all of their verified qualifications in one digital location.

Companies have long sought efficient ways to evaluate proficiency and confirm training records when hiring craft professionals. Now there is a simpler path. Providing one central, digital home for credentials will help streamline this process and support more efficient hiring and compliance practices.

NCCER credentials are automatically added to the mobile wallet as they are earned. Users can also upload other certifications, share qualifications directly with employers and receive notifications about expirations and additional training opportunities.

For craft professionals, digital credential management offers a practical way to maintain up-to-date records and present the qualifications they worked so hard to earn when pursuing new roles. For employers, it provides an additional tool to verify training and make more informed hiring and staffing decisions.

By improving how credentials are stored, accessed and shared, NCCER’s new mobile wallet will help facilitate a more connected and transparent construction workforce.
